En dan begint de Challenge…waar moet je op letten
Op zaterdag 30 mei om 08:00 uur MET geeft Dorethea Bil LIVE op de Facebook pagina van de NNT Community het startschot van de Challenge. Natuurlijk mag je zelf eerder (vanaf zonsopgang) of later (tot zonsondergang) beginnen met jullie eerste afstand. Het aantal kilometers dat jullie lopen bepaal je zelf net als de locatie waar jullie lopen. Vanwege de weersomstandigheden (hoogte temperatuur en luchtvochtigheid) ben je natuurlijk wel alert op wat je hond wel of niet aankan. Pas je tempo en de afstand aan en neem altijd minimaal 1 liter water mee om te voorkomen dat jullie uitdrogen. Tussendoor maken jullie uiteraard zoveel mogelijk foto’s en selfies van de schitterende omgeving waarin jullie lopen…

And then the Challenge starts …what should you pay attention to
On Saturday 30 May at 08:00 MET, Dorethea Bil LIVE will kick off the Challenge on the NNT Community Facebook page. Of course you can start your first distance earlier (from sunrise) or later (until sunset). You determine the number of kilometers you run/walk and the location where you run/walk. Because of the weather conditions (altitude, temperature and humidity) you are of course alert to what your dog can or cannot handle. Adjust your pace and distance and always take at least 1 liter of water with you to avoid drying out. In the meantime you will of course take as many photos and selfies as possible of the beautiful surroundings in which you run/walk…

Kilometers vastleggen in Google Drive
Aan het eind van de dag van jullie canitrail of canitrail in de ochtend en lange wandeling in de avond ga je naar Google Drive en vul je het aantal kilometers in dat jullie die dag hebben gelopen/ gewandeld. Ler bij het invullen van de kilometers erop dat je het getal juist invult:
– 8 in plaats van 8km
– 8.3 in plaats van 8,3

Record kilometers in Google Drive
At the end of the day of your canitrail or canitrail in the morning and long walk in the evening, go to Google Drive and enter the number of kilometers you have walked / walked that day. When filling in the kilometers, make sure you enter the number correctly:
– 8 instead of 8km
– 8,3 instead of 8.3

Met meerdere honden lopen
Stel je hebt meer honden en zou met alle honden mee willen doen aan de Challenge, dan zijn er een aantal dingen waarmee je rekening moet houden.

De Natte Neuzen Trails zijn trails voor honden en de handler loopt aangelijnd mee, omdat in veel natuurgebieden de hond gewoon niet los en alleen mag lopen. Tja en als je dan een Challenge organiseert voor cani’s dan is het natuurlijk logisch dat de kilometers die zij lopen bij elkaar opgeteld moeten worden. En omdat zij geen sporthorloge om hebben en toch al vast zitten aan hun baas, is het aantal kilometers die de handler op z’n sporthorloge of mobiele telefoon heeft staan bepalend voor de kilometers die je hond loopt.

* Heb je meer honden waarmee je tegelijkertijd loopt, dan schrijf je je in met de namen van de honden die meedoen. De afstand die jullie hebben afgelegd vermenigvuldig je dan met het aantal honden en dat aantal geef je op. Stel je loopt op zaterdag 30 mei samen met hond A en hond B een 10km. Dan vul je achter je deelname met hond A en B 20km in, want beide honden hebben 10km gelopen.

* Heb je meer honden met wie je apart loopt, dan schrijf je je in met de namen van de honden die meedoen, maar per hond houd je vervolgens de kilometers bij die jullie samen afleggen en vult het dagtotaal ( alle afstanden per hond bij elkaar opgeteld) in . Stel je loopt op zaterdag 30 mei met hond A 6km en met hond B 10km. Je vult achter je deelname die 16km in die je met hond A, 6km, en met hond B, 10km, hebt afgelegd.

Running/ Walking with several dogs
Suppose you have more dogs and would like to participate in the Challenge with all dogs, there are a few things to keep in mind.

The Wet Noses Trails are trails for dogs and the handler runs/walks on a leash, because in many nature reserves the dog is simply not allowed to run free or walk alone. Well, because we are organizing a Challenge for canis  it is logical to add the kilometers run by dogs. And because they don’t have a sports watch and are already attached to their owner, the number of kilometers shown on the handler’s sports watch or mobile phone determines the kilometers your dog runs.

* If you have more dogs you run/ walk with at the same time, register the names of the dogs that participate. Multiply the distance you have run/walked by the number of dogs and that number you register on Google Drive. Imagine you walk a 10km with dog A and dog B on Saturday 30 May. You fill in 20km at your participation with dog A and B, because both dogs have run/walked 10km.

* If you have more dogs with whom you walk separately, you register the names of the dogs that participate, but per dog you keep the kilometers you travel together and fill in the daily total (all distances per dog added together ). Imagine you walk with dog A 6km and dog B 10km on Saturday 30 May. You register in Google Drive the 16km you ran and or walked with dog A, 6km, and with dog B, 10km.

Berichtje plaatsen op Facebook
In de Natte Neuzen Trail Community op Facebook plaats je vervolgens “het bewijs” van jullie kilometers. Met natuurlijk zoveel mogelijk foto’s van jou en je hond(en) en de schitterende natuur waar jullie hebben gelopen. Zo kunnen wij va afstand meegenieten van jullie avontuur.

Iedere dag zie je na het invullen van jullie kilometers precies hoeveel kilometers er nog over zijn om tot die 40.008km te kunnen komen.

In the Wet Nose Trail Community on Facebook you then place “the proof” of your kilometers. With of course as many photos of you and your dog (s) and the beautiful nature where you have walked. This way we can enjoy your adventure from a distance.

Every day, after filling in your kilometers, you will see exactly how many kilometers are left to get to those 40,008 km.
